Farewell Reuben

It is with great sadness and loving remembrance that we write this post. On Easter Sunday, we bid farewell to our dear friend Reuben. Ken and Julie's constant companion for 11 years, he was also a huge part of daily life here at the Holy Cow studio. You knew Reuben as the official greeter at Holy Cow, we knew him as our in-house courier, eager lunch 'helper' and much-loved canine colleague. He will be deeply missed and forever a part of the Holy Cow family.

Go Boom

We love boomers and so should you...especially if you own a business in our region. Did you know that 16% of all Canadian retirees will move to Victoria? These discerning and intuitive consumers will pay full price for top of the line retail & services AND support the arts & charitable giving. Boomers are the wealthiest generation to have ever retired and it's still early days. For these folks, it's not about growing old, it's all about feeling young.

Think Branding

What's the one thing that matters most to your brand's audience? Yes...say it aloud right now or better yet, share it below. If you can't immediately think of this 'one thing', do some serious reflection. Your business needs to own a topic that people can care about, hook into and engage with. This 'one thing' is not about your business. It's larger than your brand. It's about what matters to your audience, your people and your community. This is how you'll create a true and long-lasting relationship that celebrates the folks who support your brand.
